Above & Beyond

Triploid Grass Carp are a species of herbivorous fish that were intentionally introduced into Florida's lakes and ponds as a way to help control aggressive nuisance aquatic weed growth. These fish have an immense appetite for invasive plants such as Hydrilla, Coontail, Muskgrass, Southern Naiad and Slender Spikerush. The average size of the Triploid Carp when installed is 8-10 inches. They have a life span of 8-10 years.
